The feud between Pakistan cricketer Salman Butt and former England captain Michael Vaughan is still going on. The altercation started with Michael Vaughan's statement in which he described Kane Williamson as a better batsman than Virat Kohli. On which Salman Butt said Michael Vaughan that the comparison between Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson is not right. Responding to Salman Butt, Michael Vaughan mentioned 2010 match-fixing. Now back from answering this, Salman Butt has said that Michael Vaughan has defined himself by attacking him personally.
The altercation started with Michael Vaughan's statement in which he described Kane Williamson as a better batsman than Virat Kohli. He said that Kane Williamson is the best batsman in the world but he cannot get this title due to Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli comes from a country whose population is very high due to which his fan following also increases. And Kane Williamson does not make as much money from brand endorsement as Virat Kohli. Michael Vaughan also said, "Virat Kohli is not a great and best player, you cannot say that because by saying this you will have to face social media."
Pakistani cricketer Salman Butt responded to this statement by Michael Vaughan on his YouTube channel. He said in favor of Virat Kohli that Virat Kohli comes from a country with 130+ crore population. Virat Kohli has achieved a lot in a very short time. The 32-year-old Virat has scored 70 centuries in international cricket in a very short period of time and none of the batsmen who have played with him have done so.
Men's Individual Rankings for ODI, Test And T20I
Salman Butt further said that Virat Kohli remained at the top of the batting rankings for a very long time. Pakistani cricketer had said that Kane Williamson is a very good and capable cricketer but it is not right to compare him with Virat Kohli. Taking a dig at Michael Vaughan, Salman Butt said, "Comparison is being done by a man who does not have a century in the ODI, although Michael Vaughan has been a good captain."
No idea what the headline is ... but I seen what Salman has said about me ... that’s fine and he is allowed his opinion but I wished he had such a clear thought of mind back in 2010 when he was Match fixing !!! https://t.co/EkDWuH7Vi4
Now giving a befitting reply to Michael Vaughan from back, Pakistani cricketer Salman Butt has told his YouTube channel that some people have 'mental constipation' and they are stuck in the past.
Butt said on his YouTube channel, 'I don't want to go too deep. I just want to say that he raised the subject in the wrong context. There is no justification for such a response. If he wants to live in the past and talk about it, he certainly can. Constipation is a disease. Things get stuck and they don't come out so easily. Some people have mental constipation. The mind of such people remains in the past. It does not matter.'
The Pakistani cricketer said that we were talking about two great cricketers of the present time, but Michael Vaughan gave it some other direction. If Vaughan had proved me wrong on the basis of facts, it would have been good. But he thought it better to attack personally.
Salman Butt said that he can say what he has to say, I do not mind. Some people have mental constipation and people remain trapped in the past. Well Michael Vaughan has demonstrated his thinking by attacking personally.
