Immediately after the postponement of IPL 2021, the time and place of the remaining matches started to be discussed. For two days it was claimed by media reports that the schedule of the series to be played between England and India can be changed for the window of the remaining matches of IPL 2021. And for this, discussions have started between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). However, this has been completely rejected by both the boards.
