After this, Team India will play a five-match Test series against hosts England. Wisden, the cricketing magazine, has selected its all-time Indian Test XI on the basis of ICC rankings. Virat Kohli has been named the captain of this all-time Test XI team.

In this team, 'Little Master' Sunil Gavaskar and 'The Wall' Rahul Dravid have been selected as the openers. Surprisingly, former team opener Virender Sehwag was not given a place in this team. For the third and fourth numbers, Wisden have chosen Cheteshwar Pujara and Master Blaster and 'The God' Sachin Tendulkar respectively. Captain Virat Kohli comes at number five in this team.

Surprisingly, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has been chosen in place of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the wicket-keeper of the team. Rishabh has been given this place for his great performance against Australia and England.

Not only India but one of the world's best all-rounders Kapil Dev has been selected at number seven in the team. Ravindra Jadeja, currently one of the best all-rounders in the world, has also been included in this team. Wisden has three spinners in this squad, which includes Anil Kumble, Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin. Jaspreet Bumrah is also named among the other specialist fast bowlers in the team.
