All foreign members of the MI reached their destinations safe & sound

In view of the increasing transition of Corona, the BCCI postponed the IPL 2021 indefinitely on 6 May. So far 29 matches have been played in this season and there were around 31 matches. By postponing this season, the BCCI will also face a loss of around 2500 crores. In India, the board had decided to take Corona's horrifyingly growing cases to all foreign players back to their respective homes.
In the same sequence, the franchise of Mumbai Indians had decided that the players should be sent back by charter flight. According to the latest information, most of the foreign players associated with Mumbai Indians returned to their respective countries after postponement of IPL 2021. Some Australian players still remain in the Maldives.
Australia has listed India Red after seeing the condition of Corona in India. This means that all flights coming from India are currently banned. Australia has put a stay on all flights coming from India till 15 May. Keeping this prohibition and the safety of the players in mind, all Australian players have been sent to Maldives. Sri Lankan head coach Mahela Jayawardene was also flown to Maldives along with all the Australian players.
Defending champion Mumbai Indians tweeted to inform that thier foreign players and support staff has reached the safe destination. The franchise through the tweet told that all foreign members of Mumbai Indians have reached their destinations safely.
Follow all security protocols. . Stay at home. Stay safe. The Mumbai Indians have two Australian players in their team Chris Lynn and Nathan Coulter Nile. Players from New Zealand, South Africa and the West Indies arrived in Auckland, Johannesburg and Trinidad by chartered flights.
This season (IPL 2021) the performance of Mumbai Indians has not been very special and they have won only four out of their seven matches played. With these four wins, he is at number four in the points table. However, in the last match played against Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians recorded a resounding win. He won the first time chasing 200 runs with the help of Pollard's 43 runs.
However, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla has already made it clear that IPL 2021 has been postponed indefinitely, not finished. It is believed that the remaining matches of IPL 2021 can be done in UAE, UK or Australia. Sri Lankan Cricket Board has proposed to BCCI to get the remaining matches of IPL 2021 in Sri Lanka itself.
