India retains top position in ICC Test Rankings,NZ at number two
Ravi Shastri hailed Team India after they retained the number one spot in Test rankings.

Recently, Team India took first place in the Test rankings. Team India, led by Virat, got into the rankings, beating his next opponent, New Zealand. Team India is currently in first place with 121 points, while New Zealand is at second place with 120 points.
Head coach Ravi Shastri also responded on Team India topping the table. He congratulated the team through his Twitter post and said that even after the changing rules, the team performed well and overcame all the obstacles.

Ravi Shastri said that the team achieved this position through hard work without stopping.
He wrote, "Rules changed midway but #TeamIndia overcame every hurdle along the way. My boys played tough cricket in tough times. Super proud of this bindass bunch," he added.
Team India qualified for the World Test Championship being played for the first time by defeating England 3–1 at their home.
Table-topper Team India will play a 5-match series against England at their home. An 18-member team has been announced for this series. Ravindra Jadeja and Hanuma Vihari are returning to the team. At the same time, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is also making his comeback after missing the last Test match against England.
