Virat Kohli has been in pink of form as captain as RCB have not lost a single match in the ongoing IPL 2021, the first time they have won their first matches in the history of the tournament. It has been nothing but amazing for the red army as in IPL 2020, they had qualified for the playoffs for the first time after IPL 2016 and now they are on the top of the points table after four wins from four matches.

RCB have been in excellent form this year, and haven't lost a match yet. The win against RR is their fourth on the trot. Reaching his first fifty of the season in the second delivery of the 13th over, Kohli first raised his bat towards his teammates in the dugout, then he pointed towards the stands and dedicated the knock to his daughter by doing a cradle celebration.

Rajasthan Royals had batted first after Virat Kohli after a long time won a toss and chose to field. The decision proved to be a good one as RR lost openers Jos Buttler and Manan Vohra for the single-digit score. Shivam Dube (46), Riyan Parag (25), and Rahul Tewatia (40) were the major contributors to RR’s final total of 177/9 in 20 overs.

For RCB, Mohammed Siraj picked 3/27 and Harshal Patel took 3/47.

In reply, RCB openers Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli carried out a demolition job on the RR bowlers as they chased down the target without even losing a wicket with 21 balls in hand as well. Devdutt Padikkal scored 101* in 52 balls with 11 fours and 6 sixes to his name which is his first century in the IPL and second in T20 format.

Kohli's action-packed innings (72 in 47 balls) also consisted of six fours and three sixes.

Reaching his first fifty of the season in the second delivery of the 13th over, Kohli first raised his bat towards his teammates in the dugout, then he pointed towards the stands and dedicated the knock to his daughter by doing a cradle celebration.

Kohli and Anushka Sharma's daughter Vamika was born on January 11.
