Chennai Super Kings will bring Michael Hussey to Chennai by air ambulance, Dhoni will leave for Ranchi in the afternoon

Players are returning to their homes after the postponement of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. CSK batting coach Michael Hussey will not be returning to Australia due to being Corona positive. They will have to wait for the negative report to return home. For this reason, his franchise Chennai Super Kings took him to Chennai via Air Ambulance.

A senior CSK official said that Hussey and bowling coach L Balaji were brought from Delhi to Chennai Air Ambulances for better control over the situation. The official confirmed that

MS Dhoni will leave for Ranchi in the afternoon. He said that we have good contacts in Chennai. Therefore, it was decided to take Hussey and Balaji to Chennai, so that we would already have facilities if needed. Fortunately, both do not have any symptoms and they are both better.

The official further clarified that Hussey would have to wait for the negative report before leaving India. When they are ready to return home, we will arrange a charter to ensure their safe return. Like we have arranged a similar charter to go to MS Dhoni's house. It will go from Delhi to Ranchi and further to Hyderabad.

Dhoni had made it clear that he would leave the bio bubble after arranging for all the teammates to return home. Significantly, despite the tough bio bubble on Tuesday, the BCCI postponed the tournament after some players and staff members were corona positive.
